Sustaining HIV Services in Crisis through Inclusion & Localization – UNAIDS, UNHCR & WFP Webinar

Discover how humanitarian and community partners are reshaping HIV service delivery in some of the world’s most challenging crisis settings.
This session — From Guidance to Impact: Sustaining HIV Services in Humanitarian Settings through Inclusion and Localization — took place during the Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Weeks (HNPW) on 4 March 2026 and was co‑organized by UNHCR, WFP, and UNAIDS.
The webinar brought together HIV and humanitarian specialists from community‑led organizations, international NGOs, UN agencies, and other key partners. It presented the latest updates from the ongoing revision of the IASC Guidance for Addressing HIV in Humanitarian Settings and what these changes mean for frontline action.
A dynamic panel featuring MSF, FHI, 100% Life Ukraine, and Young Positive South Sudan shared concrete, real‑world approaches showing how humanitarian actors and community‑based HIV organizations can work together to protect—and expand—access to essential HIV services in complex humanitarian settings amid the humanitarian reset and despite tightening resources.
