Our work

What we do

The core function of the IATT for HIV-E is to provide thought leadership and technical guidance, to advocate for policy, programme outcomes as well as funding, to facilitate an entry point for technical support and to contribute to strengthening country-level partnerships.

The IATT has four strategic priorities

Strengthen capacities for HIV integration :

Support the coordination, technical and operational capacity of national, regional and global level actors to integrate HIV into the preparation, response and recovery phases of emergencies.

Reinforce inter-cluster and multi-sector collaboration

Ensure that HIV-E is acknowledged, factored in and addressed as a cross-cutting theme.

Build evidence and manage information and knowledge:

Contribute to strengthening research, documentation and sharing of practices, information and data management to strongly position and advocate for HIV-E.

Propose solutions

Help address strategic and technical gaps and mobilize resources for HIV-E.
